You perhaps should capitalize “VAG.”

When he drives fast, it causes VAGinal friction.

Except my M3 which I no longer own and my mom’s 2014 Fusion, every car my parents have owned in the last 20-ish years and my brother and I have owned have been made by GM.

Currently as the driveway sits we have three out of four GM cars. My S10, brother’s Grand Am, and dad’s Silverado.

We’re on our fifth Audi, so yeah.

Quite the group of vehicles you’ve got there.

“None of these toys on lease too yeah.”

Your family had best be out of the VAG dark ages (90s-early-00s).

I approve of this post.

Also, I’m assuming that with so many nice cars you’re buying the right parts (i.e. SACHS and LEMFÖRDER) and keeping me employed. ;)

My family, due to a highly placed relative at GM, has a Buick, Cadillac, Chevy problem. To be sure, another branch has a Chrysler/Fiat issue, but none of it affects me, b/c my car is Turo now. Let them fight it out ....

Do all / most of them work? If so, doesn’t seem like a problem!

Finally I find you again! I was actually going to ask you about the early 2008-2010 last gen CTS. Are they as much of a mechanical nightmare as people have been claiming in terms of costly things breaking?

They all are all 100% functional, shockingly. That’s not cheap!

Main thing that crosses my mind is timing chains on the 3.6L. They have a tendency to shit the bed around 80k miles.
